MonsterMon Android Game Project Context
This document summarizes the current state and next steps for the MonsterMon Android game development.
Project Overview
The goal is to build an Android game featuring a talking "MonsterMon" virtual pet, similar to a Tamagotchi. The monster will evolve through 8 stages, growing from a baby to adulthood, with its evolution path influenced by the player's care. After reaching its final form, the lifecycle restarts. The monster will also be able to "talk" by displaying text messages.
Current Status
A new Android project has been scaffolded using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. The basic project structure, Gradle build files, AndroidManifest, and essential resource files (strings, themes, colors) are in place. A minimal "Hello MonsterMon!" UI is set up in MainActivity.kt.

Next Steps
The immediate next step is to generate the Gradle Wrapper files to enable building the project. After the wrapper files are in place, we can attempt a build to confirm the setup and then begin implementing the core game logic (monster state, caring actions, evolution system, talking feature).
To generate the Gradle Wrapper, the user needs to run the following command:
gradle wrapper --gradle-version 8.2
